FACTS - Tuition & Homeroom billing

Tuition invoice notification emails come from: billing@factsmgt.com and  the subject line says: Apostles Lutheran School Monthly Statement

Incidental invoice notification emails come from: noreply@factsmgt.com (homeroom, tutoring, books, etc.) with an empty subject line. FACTS is working on resolving the empty subject line problem.

Please be sure these two addresses are not sent to your junk mail/spam folder.
This is for families who have elected to receive email invoice notification.

Yearbook Photos Needed - Submit Online

We are always in need of photos to help supplement our annual yearbook and make it a quality publication.  Do you have photos you'd be willing to share?  Volleyball or football games, Quiz Bowl, Fall Musical, etc?  We need them all.  You can even submit online.  Here's how:

The Way (Jr. High Youth Group) is having a talent show on Friday, Feb 10 at 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall.  Kids in grades 6-8 are urged to come up with an act (alone or with others) for the show, which will be judged!   First place prize:  $25; second place prize: $15; third place prize: ??  Sign your act up with Pastor Bork by Thursday, Feb 9.

Kindergarten Assessment

School Wish List

Our school's wishlist can be found on our school website.

The wishlist contains items that would be helpful to our school's programs, but we don't have all the budgetary funds for these expenses.

Do you buy on Amazon.com?  Check our Amazon wishlist.

FACTS - Automated Incidental Billing

New to the FACTS system is incidental billing.  This allows us to create invoices and pay fees outside of tuition through FACTS.  (This is how school registration was paid and how Homeroom is being paid.)

Now FACTS is offering an auto-pay option for incidental billing for families who have their tuition set to be automatically withdrawn from their checking account (ACH).

In order to set this up, you will need to click the button to enroll in auto-pay when making an incidental payment.  Again, this is only for families who have their tuition drawn automatically from a bank account.

Support the school 4 Great ways

We have four great ways to support the school:

  1. Pray for the school ministry.  Nothing is more powerful than prayer and asking God to richly bless us.
  2. Donate an item from The Wishlist.  These are items that could help make our school/classrooms better, but for which there aren't budgeted funds.  General donations are always accepted, too.  Some items from the wishlist can also be found on our Amazon.com wishlist.
  3. Buy Scrip.  Buying scrip is a great way to support the school and receive a tuition credit.  Contact the office for more details or check our website
  4. Turn in those Oakridge Mall receipts. Just drop them off in the office.

High School Program

Thinking of High School for your children?  If you have come to appreciate the high standards and Christian education of Apostles Lutheran School, then consider our high school program as well.

It started this year with 9th grade and will continue to add a new grade until we reach grade 12.

We use two on-line curriculum providers (Seven Star Academy which has adapted the highly rated Florida Virtual School curriculum, and the University of California), but the classes are also taught by our teachers, in person, with their own insight and expertise added.  So our students are getting the best of both educational worlds!   On-line curricula are the fast growing wave of the future of education.  Our classes are accredited and meet the entrance standards of the University of California.  They are available on three levels:  core/standard, honors, and Advanced Placement (college level and ready for college credit).

More information will be shared in future E-News editions.  Feel welcome to talk to Pastor Bork about more specifics or ask for a program brochure.
